About the Race
Bike Path Photos
The Annual Mohican 5K Walk/Run benefits the Loudonville-Mohican bike path with proceeds helping to complete and maintain the area's new bike path. The race will begin on Wally Road, just south of its intersection with West Main Street in Loudonville and adjacent to the bike path. Racers will head south on Wally Road to Route 3 where they will then run on the bike path south to the halfway point, and then return, heading north but staying on the bike path to the finish point near the Wally Road ball fields along the river.
Both walk and run races will be run together with 9 a.m. start time, with walkers lining up behind runners at the starting line..
Fees
$20 early registration fee for adults; $15 early registration fee for ages 18 and under.
Early registrations must be received with check or money order by October 8, 2011.
$23 registration fee for registrations received after October 8, 2011.
Awards
Trophies awarded to overall first finishers, male and female, both run and walk categories and to the overall first finisher in the walk category.
Medals awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishers in seven age groups, both walk and run categories
(see registration form below for age groups).
All racers will also receive a participation ribbon.
T-shirts (long sleeve) will be given to all racers whose registrations are received by October 8, 2011.
